According to the this year's motto "Modern times: this has a beat" there will be given room to current music and art trends. The musicians and leaders of the festival, Johannes Tonio and Cornelius Claudio Kreusch will again transform the atmospheric places of Raitenhaslach and the old town of Burghausen into a scene of very special artistic interactions. Internationally renowned artists in the fields of music, film and science like Giora Feidman, Werner Küspert, Rabih Abou-Kahlil, Rolf Basten, Lukas Ligeti, Marilyn Mazur, Ralph Towner and Bernhard Ruchti will perform at the festival.
Some of the artworks of the sculptor Heiko Börner, whose exhibition "Rhythmus und Augenblick" will be part of the event in the vaulted hall of the TUM Science and Study Center Raitenhaslach, will remain in the outdoor area around the monastery until the end of July.
Like last year all events will be supplemented with direct and personal Artist Talks, presented by Tom R. Schulz, journalist and press spokesman of Hamburgs Elbphilharmonie.
More detailed information about the event schedule can be found in the festival program.
