Guided tours of the prelate's wing

Would you like to enjoy Raitenhaslach monastery from both inside and out? Our guided tours open the doors to the historic premises of the TUM Science & Study Center and provide unexpected insights.

The prelate's wing was once built as a prestigious guest quarter of the monastery. The building attests to the high status Raitenhaslach enjoyed as one of the wealthiest Bavarian Cistercian abbeys in the 18th century. With the unique frescos of the papal room and the Aula maior, the prelate's wing is home to true artistic treasures which remained hidden for many years.

The recently completed restoration of the prelate's wing and the ceremonial hall wing is now declared as the "gold standard" of Bavarian heritage preservation. Our guest tours are rounded off with revealing information about the restoration process and the building's current usage. To arrange a tour, call +49 89 289 26600 or e-mail our team directly.
