What once began as the Königlich Bayerische Polytechnische Hochschule zu München in 1868, is nowadays one of the most successful technical universities in the world. Already last December, TUM started its 150th anniversary with the annual academic celebration. In 2018, the university acknowledges its ever-changing history with a number of events and looks into the future of the world of science.
