(Cultural) Summer in Raitenhaslach

From 12 August, it is that time again and the courtyard of the Science & Study Center and former Raitenhaslach Monastery will become a stage for theatre, comedy and cool concerts! We are pleased to host this spectacle during the summertime.

On 28 July 2021, a culturally charged month full of open-air events started in Burghausen.
One may now welcome entertaining guests until 28 August: Antilopen Gang, Konstantin Wecker, Monobo Son, Kinga Glyk, Alex Diehl, Granada – “Jedermann, Hamlet, Des Wahnsinns fette Beute” - and many more!

The event series Burghausen extraLive will kick off the festival.
The world's longest castle becomes the venue for a concert programme ranging from Hip Hop to Jazz.
After the castle concerts, the team then moves the open-air stage and a diverse and eventful programme to the former monastery, today our Science & Study Center.

Some Burghausen event organisers and cultural players and creators have joined forces for this event.
The aim is to emphasise togetherness during these difficult times.
The events are organised by the City of Burghausen under the direction of the Kulturbüro and in cooperation with IG Jazz, the cultural associations Lightning Bird and TU ES!, the Bavarian Palace Administration.

You will find the entire programme at www.burghausen.de/extralive and www.burghausen.de/kultursommer.
