On Pentecost, the former monastery complex of Raitenhaslach is going to be the backdrop for a small, but top-flight art and jazz festival. The motto: Look into the future! Exciting musical experiences and inspiring talks with artists are awaiting the visitors also in the rooms of the TUM Science & Study Center.

The start on Friday night, 8 pm, is a concert in the monastery church: The well-known David Orlowsky Trio is replacing the grand old man of klezmer music Giora Feidman, who was to perform at first hand but had to cancel the concert because of health reasons. The trio combines traditional klezmer with their own curiosity for new paths in music.

On Pentecost Sunday and Monday, the Aula maior, the ceremonial hall of the TUM Science & Study Center, is once more turning into a concert hall. Doris Orsan (violin), Tara Bouman (clarinet) and Markus Stockhausen (trumpet/flugelhorn) bring together jazz, classic and modern music. Kemal Dinç and Antonis Anissegos unite traditional music from Anatolia and elements of European classic. On all days, the Red Salon is going to be the fine setting for talks between artists and audience.

You can find the exact dates and further information in the festival program of the City of Burghausen.
